Computer Education Program: In Nepal, computer literacy is a skill which is valued almost as highly as standard literacy! It is therefore a huge advantage to learn the basics of computer use and this is something which our volunteers of Computer Education Program ( CEP ) can help with.  By assisting  children and youths with theoretical and practical computer classes, Volunteers make a difference in community where  don’t have experienced and qualified IT teachers as Nepal has just relazied the importance of computer education. Realising the need for skilled manpower in Nepal, computer skills in becoming necessary for every one. So, the main objectives of Computer Education Program ( CEP ) is to increase computer literacy through the placement of International Volunteers in newly introduced Information Technology (IT) centres. Volunteers are needed to assist children and youths with basic theoretical and practical computer classes. You can teach any of the following useful programmes; Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Paint, Photoshop, PageMaker, internet usage, and website development. Depending on the level of student, you will teach a variety of practical computer skills ranging from how to turn a computer on and off, to explanning office program, to providing some basic hardware maintenance training if you can. Experienced  volunteers can also conduct IT lessions to the teaching staffs that they can teach better to students.

Conduct of lessons
You will be expected to carry out 3 to 5 classes a day depending on demand. Each class lasts for 45 minutes.
