Sport Development Program in Nepal
Volunteer Aid Nepal aims to support local youth clubs in Nepal to maximize their involvement for sport development. The main objectives of Organizing Sport Development Program are to support International Volunteers in the need of sport clubs in Nepal. The Sport Development Program (SDP ) includes coaching to the beginners, making sport team, making sport play ground/ repairing play ground, teaching sport technique to Children as well as youth, conducting physical exercise training, empowering sport clubs, assisting sport club, arranging sport competition etc. Volunteers also will get opportunity to learn Nepalese games such as Kabarti, Dandibiyo, Gameball etc. Sport Development program focus indoor games as well as outdoor games but priority is given to outdoor games in which volunteers can actively get opportunity to participate in games with local people in public area. This Volunteering program is designed for those people who are interested in sport. This Program helps to modify good health of villagers and also helps to make good relationship and brotherhood among the people. This type of Volunteering Program is probably the first time in Nepal.

Volunteers for program must:
-Be 18 years or older
-Have no major health problems
- Able to teach Football, Cricket, Volleyball / other games
-Be eligible to obtain a tourist visa to Nepal
-Flexible, commitment and adjustable
