“Volunteer Councils ” are daughter Organizations of Volunteer Aid Nepal. In the year 2010, Volunteer Aid Nepal has formed 14 volunteer councils in various districts of Nepal. Now, Volunteer Councils are active in their owm community. The size of each Volunteer Council is between 5 members to 9 members. The members of Volunteer Council are active in following area.

Improve the sanitation status of School
Promote Eco – Village
Make people aware on Climate Change
Promote Social service in local level
Promote volunteering among all local people
Inlarging people’s participation in local development

A small team of Students or local youths can form a ” Volunteer Council ” to work in community level. Volunteer Aid Nepal provide technical assistance to Volunteer Council to work better for their own community.
